Big surprises come from simple people

Hello everyone!

I have something extraordinary to share with you. I know of a family who are very simple. Murugesh the father, Victoria the mother and their two girls Jacqueline and Jaysilee. I have known them for many years, Murugesh works for a blind school and brings in a small salary and runs the family with that. Victoria manages the house with her tailoring work sometimes. Usually, we feel that daring acts are done by high profile people who are very smart, well educated, very well calculative and we expect some remarkable acts like sponsorship, adoption etc., from this class of people.

I am going to talk about a miracle adoption by Murugesh's family. They had cultivated a deep strong desire to adopt a boy baby for a long time and they never even revealed this desire to anyone. I have known a few who talk about adoption and they have adopted and some who keep talking but never have adopted.

There was a time when Murugesh and family heard through friends that there is a boy who needs to be adopted due to various circumstances and Murugesh and Victoria sprung into action. But again due to some obstruction they were not able to bring the baby home. When asked about it, Murugesh said that it was not God's plan and that is why they could not bring the baby home. We would expect this sort of statement from all other "strong, leadership oriented people" but not from him; it was surprising. Again, big surprises come from small people, so to say. They did not lose heart. They were in touch with God for this adoption. One fine day, he heard that somebody had dropped a boy with a church priest and Murugesh immediately rushed to the place along with his wife and expressed their willingness to take him home as their son. The little baby boy was 3-4 month's old and was born to a woman who had 12 children already and they could not support anymore children. In this evil world, where there is infanticide every moment, I thank God for protecting the baby and giving a good heart to the lady that she did not do anything otherwise but gave up the baby to that church priest. The priest was all the more happy to give away the boy to Murugesh and Victoria. After they brought the baby home, he was not only happy but he even asked advice about the legalities of the baby and took the advice seriously and got the adoption process legally done. The boy is now grown and he is really one among the family and as usual he has all the resemblance of the family just like the resemblance that a biological offspring would have if the boy were to be born for Murugesh and Victoria. God bless such hearts and I pray that people like me will take the challenge more higher to do daring things such as these. To God be the glory. Here is the miracle boy with the family.
